Job description

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and team-oriented CNC Mill Set-Up Technician to work with various machine tools to produce new and repeat precision parts to print specifications.

  • 1st Shift – Full time
  • Monday – Thursday 6:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. / Friday is optional overtime
  • Climate-controlled 22,000 sq. ft building with an air ventilation system

Essential Job Functions

  • Studies sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to comprehend sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
  • Sets up, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials necessary for machining operations.
  • Measures and examines completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Engages with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
  • Functions with awareness of set-up, run, and tear-down times to comply with operational efficiencies.

 Job Qualifications

  • Education: High School degree.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or college/technical school training program is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CNC Mill Set-up Machinist preferred
