We are currently looking for a person who has some basic understanding of CNC machining operation. Will be looking for an operator to help run CNC mills, load, and unload parts in mills. Be able to operate horizontal, vertical and panel saws. Will also be required to help with other assembly operation and help clean shop as needed. Able to use bandsaws and other machines. Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

Maintains a clean and safe work area. Wears required Personal Protective Equipment. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor. Willingness to work as assigned by your supervisor.

Must have basic knowledge in the following:

• Basic math skills (standard and metric)
• Basic understanding of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to follow all safety rules (wearing eye and ear protection etc.)
• Willing to be trained in CNC machining.

Have attention to detail:

• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
• Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to operate pallet jack / forklift. (will train)
• Ability to set-up and produce basic assembly process.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing up to 95% of shift.
• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting with arms extended.
• Hand, wrist, and arm movement (full range)
• Able to lift parts and/or fixtures that weigh up to 50lbs. Lifting weight over 50lbs will be accomplished with lifting aids.
• Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection and all other personal protection as required.

Various duties as assigned through the manufacturing facility. Safely perform all of the required duties while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Operate in a team environment to achieve company goals in safety, productivity, process improvement and housekeeping.

Hours:

• Monday through Thursday   6:30 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
• Fridays possible over time

Starting wage based on experience.
